What is XP Coin?

Experience Points (XP) is a completely independent, platform agnostic incentive rewards token and digital currency combined enabling you to earn XP through video games, activities, sports, education and conservation which you can then spend at participating vendors either online, in-game, or on the high street (cryptocurrency exchanges). Also, the blockchain utilizes a PoS (Proof of Stake) algorithm, enabling you to earn interest simply by holding onto your earned XP. XP Cup Rules

This tournament is only open for players in these regions: SEA.

This document outlines the rules and regulations pertaining to the XP Overwatch Cup. Failing to adhere to these rules and regulations may result in disqualification and/or other penalization as determined by Global Esports management. Please note that Global Esports management has the authority to make final decisions that are not specifically delineated in these rules and regulations in order to preserve fair play and sportsmanship which are its sole discretion.

Team captains must read the #faq-Overwatch and check #updates in discord for additional information.

Games will all be played as best of 3 matches, with the exception of finals as a best of 7.

Teams may request a reset on the map because of ping issues as long as nothing significant has happened and 1 minute 20 seconds haven't passed (no point capture, no point capture progress, no team wipe). If Blizzard servers are DCing, no team will lose a map and a decision will be made by the admins.

Scoring:
Competitive mode is used for scoring with the time bank system for all associated maps. Any tiebreaker of any sorts will be played on a sudden death control (KOTH) map in a Best of One to determine the victor of the tied map.

Maps Information and Format :
Sudden Death Map: Admin's discretion (Ilios, Nepal, Oasis, Lijang)
Round of 32: BO3 - http://owdraft.snasgg.com is used to draft the maps with snasgg format for bo3. Captains must be aware of how to use the map draft tool prior.
Round of 16: BO3 - http://owdraft.snasgg.com is used to draft the maps with snasgg format for bo3 Captains must be aware of how to use the map draft tool prior.
Semifinals: BO3 - BO3 - http://owdraft.snasgg.com is used to draft the maps with snasgg format for bo3. Captains must be aware of how to use the map draft tool prior.
Finals BO7 : http://owdraft.snasgg.com is used to draft the maps with snasgg format for bo5. Captains must be aware of how to use the map draft tool prior.

In the case of a disconnect a total of 5 minutes of pause time will be allowed per match. In the case of lag or ping issues, 2 mins 30 seconds of pause time will be allowed per match. In case of a draw, teams will play go to BO1 Sudden Death.

Conduct:
Players are expected to show respect to one another at all times during the tournament; any misconduct from any individual(s) will be taken seriously and penalization may occur. This includes conduct towards tournament officials.
Roster:
Teams are allowed to have TWO substitutes that may be used at any given time between a series. Only players listed on your roster may play for your team.
In the case of an emergency, a sub is allowed to swap in mid-series (not mid map) so long as admin will allow. Players are only allowed to participate on one team.

Cheating, Hacks, Exploits:
Players may not make use of any form of hacking, mods, or exploits as defined by the Blizzard User Agreement http://eu.blizzard.com/en-gb/company/legal/eula. Use of these will result in an immediate disqualification and restriction from future events.
Streaming:
No player on any team is allowed to stream the event, regardless of whether or not your team is being streamed at the time of your game(s); recording is allowed. Games will all be streamed on Global Esports chosen platform.
